Domaine de Goumarre is grown on a variety of soils. Part of the vineyard is planted in siliceous soil, for suppleness, part in grey clay, for roundness, and part in red clay mixed with pebbles, for complexity.
The grapes are harvested by hand and meticulously sorted in the vineyard. With a controlled yield of 30-35 hl/ha, this estate stands out for its authenticity and high standards of quality.
