Acquired by the Castel family in 1973, Château Tour Prignac is a former 17th-century fortified house with two towers and a dovecote. The château's name refers to the towers that adorn the property, located in the commune of Prignac-en-Médoc.
The largest single vineyard in the Médoc and the most northerly of the Castel Châteaux & Domaines. An emblematic grape variety of the northern Médoc (Cabernet Sauvignon), maintained against the trend towards Merlot.
