Built in 1773 by the Marquis de Dampierre on the foundations of a medieval castle, the Château de Bligny is distinguished by its unique architecture. It is also today the only champagne estate to bear the Château appellation. Terroir: Located not far from the Cistercian abbey of Clairvaux on the Côte des Bars, the estate extends over more than 20 hectares. Vinification: Made using the traditional method, this Grande Réserve Champagne is blended with equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
