Founded in 1849 in Epernay, Maison Pol Roger is one of the last Great Champagne Houses that is both family-run and independent. Terroir: Benefiting from a degraded oceanic climate, this 92-hectare estate is based on limestone and chalk soils. Viticulture: The practice of sustainable agriculture allows the development and preservation of this prestigious terroir. Vinification: Made using the Champagne method, a first alcoholic fermentation is carried out in thermo-regulated vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. Bottled, the wine then begins its second alcoholic fermentation and will then remain in the cellar for 4 years.
