MAISON CASTEL GRANDE RESERVE SYRAH 2023

A grape variety with beautiful bluish-black berries, Syrah is known for the fruity aromatic complexity of the wines it produces.   Originally from the Northern Côtes du Rhône, it flourishes wonderfully in the Mediterranean climate of the Pays d'Oc, particularly in the cooler terroirs of the vineyard which offer it great concentration. For its Syrah Grande Réserve, Maison Castel has chosen the late terroirs of the Hérault hinterland.   On the vineyards of the North-East of Béziers, but also on the Villafranchian terraces, she makes a careful selection of plots with complementary qualities.
