
Created in 1923, the Chablisienne cooperative today covers 25% of the Chablis vineyard with more than 300 winegrowers. Terroir: Spread over 1,175 hectares, the Chablisienne vineyards are based on Kimmeridgian soils with alternating marl and marly limestone with deposits of small oysters. The plots are generally exposed south-east, south and south-west with a mosaic of different climates. Viticulture: The cooperative has the particularity of harvesting the harvest in the form of musts in order to immediately assess the quality of the different plots.
