The Ménard family has been established on the cognac lands since 1815 and has passed on its know-how as winegrowers and distillers from generation to generation. It was in 1946 that Jean-Paul Ménard and his two sons began marketing under their name, in order to promote the quality and authenticity of their work. Terroir: Spread over 64 hectares, the vineyard is located in the 1er Cru of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne. Viticulture: This Pineau is made from the Ugni Blanc and Montils grape varieties. Production: mutating the grape must at harvest time with the estate's eau-de-vie distilled the previous year. The blend then ages in undergrowth for 3 years before being marketed.
