Founded in 1808 by Apolline Henriot, the house is now one of the most prestigious in the Champagne region, thanks to its ancestral know-how and unique expertise in promoting Chardonnay.
Terroir:
The Côte des Blancs serves as a showcase for Chardonnay.
Viticulture:
The grapes come from the Côte des Blancs, where the villages of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Chouilly, Vertus, Montgueux and Epernay are among the most prestigious.
Strict specifications imposed by Henriot ensure that the grapes are of the highest quality, either produced in-house or through partnerships with winegrowers.
The Chardonnay is pruned in Chablis. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable methods. The grapes are harvested by hand.
Vinification:
Champagne Henriot is made exclusively from the prestigious Grands Crus and Premier Crus of the Côte des Blancs. This Blanc de Blancs is aged for 3 to 5 years in the estate's cellars.
