RUINART BLANC DE BLANCS NUE
Features
It was during a trip to the abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés that Dom Thierry Ruinart understood the potential of his native region of Champagne in the production of the famous bubble wine. Officially created in 1729 by his nephew Nicolas Ruinart, the prestigious house continues to prosper today through its signature: “The oldest house in Champagne”. Terroir: Ruinart's champagnes are made from grapes from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, the hillsides of Sézannais and the Vallée de la Vesle. The Ruinart estate extends over nearly 17 hectares of vines but the house sources 90% of its grapes from winegrower suppliers. Viticulture: The harvest is manual. Vinification: This white champagne is made from a single varietal Chardonnay with a dosage of 9g/l.
