The village of Tautavel is ideally located in Roussillon between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean in a region rich in history, which is one of the cradles of Humanity. Indeed, the 450,000-year-old Homo Erectus Tautavelensis was discovered there in 1971 and its archaeological museum has become one of the most popular cultural attractions in Europe. The Vineyard extends over 20 hectares of stony soils, on very limestone terraces and hillsides exposed to the South East side. The climate is regulated by the Tramontana which favors the ripening of the grapes.
