MAISON CASTEL GDE RESERVE PINOT NOIR

If its cultivation is particularly developed in the northern vineyards, Pinot Noir also flourishes very well in Pays d’Oc. In the Mediterranean climate, this early grape variety easily reaches maturity to produce refined rosés.   Benefiting from the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Pays d’Oc, Maison Castel’s Pinot Noir rosé Grande Réserve is the result of a selection of the best plots from different terroirs.   On one side, the Villafranchian terraces of the Hérault hinterland, a late terroir whose freshness allows the grapes to ripen more precisely, producing more balanced wines.   On the other, the dry pond of Marseillette, a vineyard in Aude with clay soils on a deep layer of salt, evoking the Provençal terroir.
