Located in the heart of the Lussac Saint-Emilion appellation, Château Bel-Air shines over its vineyard in one piece. Terroir: This 21 hectare estate is based on a clayey plateau with the presence of gravel and a subsoil composed of iron and clay. Viticulture: The vines are on average 35 years old with a grape variety of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. The harvest is carried out when the grapes have reached ideal maturity. Vinification: Vatting lasts several weeks in temperature-regulated vats and precedes traditional aging in oak barrels. The wines are bottled on average 18 months after the harvest.
