The Akashi brand remains faithful to the philosophy of the Eigashima distillery. It now offers a range of complementary craft whiskies known as ‘Ji-Whiskies’ in Japan. Each single malt benefits from ageing or finishing in different types of highly sought-after casks. Akashi here crystallises all the expertise of a whole generation of local craftsmen used to producing traditional brandies. Production: Aged in American oak casks and containing almost 45% malted barley.
