MOULIN DE GASSAC was created by the Guibert family in the 1970s. This estate in the Vallée de Gassac has developed under the guidance of leading specialists such as Henry Enjalbert and Emile Peynaud.
Terroir : The vines of Mas de Daumas Gassac are planted on red glacial sandstone. This exceptional soil has many qualities: it is deep, well-drained, low in humus and rich in mineral elements.
Vines: Clay-limestone plateau with quartz pebbles and a sloping profile. Rich in marl. Winemaking: 100% de-stemming. Skin maceration for 10 to 12 hours in refrigerated vats, pressing, temperature-controlled vinification.
