CHATEAU DU BOIS DE LA GARDE

Located between Avignon and Orange, Château du Bois de la Garde belongs to Vignobles Mousset-Barrot. Specializing in Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf du Pape, the House only produces AOC, local wines and Village appellations. • Terroir: The residence with the appearance of a Provençal bastide reigns over a continuous estate of 60 hectares. The southwest-facing vineyard rests on a ground of rolled pebbles which store heat throughout the day and release it during the night. • Viticulture: The estate likes to explain in detail the care given to the vines throughout the year. The viticultural work is precise and carried out in relation to the mistral. The harvest is mainly manual. The vines are goblet-shaped. • Vinification: In the cellar, the wine ferments and macerates for a period of 15 days in thermo-regulated vats before aging in concrete vats.
