Description
Dark brick colour with mahogany highlights, limpid and brilliant. Nose closed, needs opening, then notes of coffee grounds, tobacco, caramel and Morello cherry coulis, hint of dark chocolate. Powerful, fairly firm attack, with roasted notes, body, character, fullness, long, fairly present tannins. The finish is full-bodied and persistent, with morello cherry gratin, tobacco and cocoa, and a hint of sapid bitterness.
