
Land: 2.5 hectares. Grape variety: 20% Cabernet franc, which brings roundness, suppleness and fruit. 80% Merlot which gives finesse, body and fruit. Age of vines: 20 years on average. Harvest: Manual. Aging: The Château Montviel vat room allows for traditional vinification in small thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in vats during the first month of vinification, new barrels hold the wine for 15 months for malolactic fermentation and aging.
