
Founded in 1851 by Etienne Bouvet, the son of a cooper, Bouvet-Ladubay is a veritable monument to the history of fine Loire bubbles. Over 160 years of history and passion, the company from Saumur has produced a number of vintages with unrivalled expertise, all under Etienne Bouvet's motto of Excellence. Located in the heart of the Saumur A.O.C. at Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, this ancient house is famous for its 8 kilometres of cellars dug into the tufa rock. In 2015, the house was bought by the Monmousseau family. Winegrowing: Bouvet-Labuday sources its grapes from around a hundred partner winegrowers.
